The Rite of Spring is an emblematic work of musical and choreographic modernity. To the recorded music of Zoltàn Kodàly and Igor Stravinsky, Blanca Li offers a new reading of this score in April 2024, 111 years after its original creation. For the Festival Cadences d’Arcachon and Le Bouscat, the choreographer exceptionally adapted the piece for six dancers instead of the initial eighteen, retaining all the power and intensity of the work while infusing it with her unique signature.
