Le Bal de Paris is an immersive and participatory creation conceived by choreographer and director Blanca Li. This show pushes the boundaries of live performance by offering an experience in virtual reality, where dance, technology, and emotion come together.
During the experience, the audience does not remain a mere spectator: they become an active participant in the ball. Each person is invited to move, dance, and interact freely with the real dancers. The boundary between the stage and the audience dissolves, giving way to a collective space where movement and participation are at the heart of the creation.
The show begins in the atmosphere of a grand festive ball, an anchor point in reality. Gradually, this ambiance transforms and draws the audience into a poetic and surprising virtual universe. The transition from the tangible world to the imaginary unfolds seamlessly, through the interplay of dance, music, and virtual reality.
English: Built around three great scenes, the piece plunges participants into the whirlwind of a love story, experienced through the body, rhythm, and closeness. The experience is free and personal: each person chooses their own way to dance, explore the space, and share the celebration with others.
Le Bal de Paris offers a new way of experiencing dance, transforming the show into a collective, immersive, and sensory adventure, where the audience becomes a fully integral part of the creation.
