Here she fulfills a long-held dream: reinventing The Nutcracker by infusing it with new energy and dynamism. In this bold reimagining, she fuses the power of dance and music in a captivating urban re-orchestration. Eight virtuoso dancers, heirs to the hip-hop cultures of New York, the Caribbean, and California, reinterpret this masterpiece, making every note and every step vibrate with original intensity.
For the 2026-27 season, Blanca Li's The Nutcracker (commissioned and produced by the Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar as part of Suresnes Cités Danse 2022), continues its tour with a new cast, performing in Épinal in November 2026, then from November 25 to January 17 at the Théâtre Libre in Paris.
