Dance Studios

Located at the heart of the FAST cultural district (Fiminco Arts Studios) in Romainville, the Compagnie Blanca Li's creation studios are part of an ecosystem entirely dedicated to art and artists, where creation and transmission are the guiding principles.

Our workspace includes an XR creation studio and two dance studios, designed for both the production of the Company's new projects and the rehearsal of touring shows. Close to the size of a theater stage, with high ceilings and flooded with natural light, they are perfectly suited to dance, but also to technological innovation (motion capture), audiovisual production, theater, music, and all forms of live performance. The facility is complete and well-appointed, equipped with dressing rooms with showers, offices, and a staff kitchen.

It is in these studios that Blanca Li has conceived her latest creations: The Shadow, a groundbreaking mixed reality show; Dido and Aeneas, in which she directs Henry Purcell's opera with ten dancers from her Company and the ensemble Les Arts Florissants conducted by William Christie; and Le Bal de Paris de Blanca Li, an immersive virtual reality experience touring Europe since November 2021 and the rest of the world since January 2023, whose technological research and demonstrations continue in our space in Romainville.

The studios also welcome creations for the world's leading luxury and fashion houses. Blanca Li has conceived and produced bespoke events and runway shows here for exceptional brands such as Christian Louboutin, Cartier, Stella McCartney, and Elie Saab — projects combining choreographic performance, immersive scenography, and brand universe, for unique experiences at the crossroads of fashion and live performance.

Beyond the Company's own projects, the studio doors are open to all artists — theater, opera, dance, circus, photography, and beyond — looking to benefit from a fully equipped professional space, on the doorstep of Paris. The studios allow creators to occupy the space over an extended period, leave sets and costumes on site, and fully make the space their own to work in ideal conditions.

Easily accessible via metro line 5 (Bobigny-Pantin-Raymond Queneau stop) or by bike along the Canal de l'Ourcq, the Studios Blanca Li are a hub of intense artistic life, open to the world.
